Are you trying to get that new guy jealous and it's not working? Do you think he'd wake up and make a move if he realized just how attractive you are to other men? Would it help your relationship if you could make him value you more? Men can be rather detached as they embark on a new relationship. They almost have a take it or leave it attitude. To shake things up a bit, here's how you can get him to see he needs to take you seriously.
Playing it Cool
A lot of guys out there will play it cool and hide their jealousy, especially if they feel you're deliberately trying to rile them up. This means you need to be subtle and real in the tactic you use.
For instance, let's say you go out Friday night with a male friend. If you are then eager to mention it to your perspective boyfriend and you make a big show of it, he'll see right through you. However, if you casually mention it in passing without making a big drama of it, he'll wonder who this other guy is.
When you're both out with a group of people you can also strike up a pleasant conversation with another one of the guys there. Get just a tad touchy feely and stay close as you talk to him.
Don't overdo this. You want your guy to simply wonder what could be going on, but you don't want him to blow up and get angry.
More than Just Other Guys
But guys don't just get jealous at the thought of another guy. They can very well feel their in competition with the other things you have going on in your life. If your activities often have you taking time away from him, he'll ask you about these activities and probably ask who you're doing them with.
Keeping busy and showing him that you're an independent woman who isn't prepared to be completely tied down can keep a guy on his toes. He wants to show you that you can have just as good a time with him as you can with these activities of yours.
He'll up his game and do everything possible to impress you with what he has to offer.
